Stars love Free Deposit Bingo

May 24, 2009

Free Deposit Bingo is an extremely popular game not just with us mere mortals but also with the stars. Former Take That member, Robbie Williams, has admitted his love for the bingo game in the past and even shocked a group of pensioners in his hometown of Stoke when he once joined them for a game of bingo at his local land based bingo club.

He visited a bingo hall to see how local groups had benefited from his ‘Give it Sum’ charity. Robbie said

‘It’s a great atmosphere and there’s loads of laughter. It gives a break to people who are carers.’

Another celebrity who has a big passion for bingo is Keith Chegwin, who loves the game so much he even started up his own free deposit bingo website. Keith, who has previously battled with alcoholism, launched Cheggers Bingo back in 2005 on the St Minver network of sites powered by the Parlay Entertainment bingo software. He said of his venture:

‘I’ll be popping in and out, broadcasting and hosting extra games and competitions and providing the entertainment.’

One of the things that put bingo back on the map and brought it back into the 21st century for a nation of Corrie fans was gay icon Anthony Cotton, who plays Sean in Coronation Street. Anthony donned his sparkly number to call out bingo numbers on the hit show. This storyline featured back in 2005 and was extremely popular at the time.
